Kevin is a product of the Pacific Northwest and the universe. His introduction into art was, as with a lot of artists, crayons on his bedroom walls… much to the chagrin of his parents,

Kevin studied art and graphic design at Central Washington University before attending the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Kevin has worked in marketing and advertising, from New York City to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle. He was won every major advertising award for creativity and design.

Most notably, Kevin worked at Columbia Pictures as the Executive Director of Marketing. He worked on major motion pictures that included Ghostbusters, Karate Kid, Moscow on the Hudson, A Soldiers Story, The Big Chill, and A Passage to India.

All the while Kevin was honing in on his artistic skills in watercolor and illustration.

In 1988 Kevin won this first jury competition at the AACF Art Show in Anacortes, Washington for his watercolor "Virginia City." The stage was set and Kevin never looked back. He has been and still is influenced by the likes of Andrew Wyeth and Edward Hopper to name a few.
